THESE HIDDEN GEMS IN TEXAS BELONG ON YOUR BUCKET LIST | TEXAS HILL COUNTRY MOTORCYCLE RIDING | FREDERICKSBURG | ENCHANTED ROCK
Texas’ Hill Country is a pretty amazing place to explore on a motorcycle with so many great riding routes it’s hard to choose just one. Take a ride from Leakey, TX to Fredericksburg and you’ll see what we’re talking about. Oh, and don’t forget to stop at Luckenbach, TX where “everybody is somebody” according to the self-proclaimed mayor.
We ride from Leakey, TX to Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock. Round trip of over 200 amazing miles that delivered the best ride so far in Texas for us!
There’s a lot of claim-to-fame in Fredericksburg, TX, but unfortunately, we hit the town on a cold, rainy day, though we did manage to see some highlights like St. Mary’s Catholic Church (1 of 20 painted churches throughout this area), Fredericksburg Pie Company (because who doesn’t like pie) and even the Amish Furniture Mart (sells more than just furniture).
Then it was on to the infamous Enchanted Rock, where we parked the bikes and walked up the equivalent of a 40-story building. Whew!
If you’re looking to hitch up your riding pants, blaze down some awesome back roads and explore some of Texas’s lesser-known attractions, we have endless inspiration for you!
