TEXARKANA TEXAS or is it ARKANSAS?

We’ve found another awesome place in Texas for you to discover!  We head to our 1st Boondockers Welcome stay in Texarkana and set out to explore the area. 

It didn't take us long to track down the funny story about the Post Office, located in downtown Texarkana, Texas - errr at least half of it is.  The other half of the building is located in Texarkana, Arkansas.  And get this - the building has 2 completely different zip codes!

From there we're just a hop-skip and a jump from the historic Ace of Clubs House, which legend has it a lucky card drawn in a poker game inspired its cloverleaf shape.

Though a short exploration as we continue our trek south, we sure had a lot of fun while there.
