Motorcycle Ride - Lolo Pass – WINDING ROAD NEXT 99 MILES
WINDING ROAD NEXT 99 MILES – now that’s a sign after a motorcyclist’s heart! But the curves aren’t all that make this route unforgettable – the scenery is stunning as the bike twists and turns alongside the Lochsa River.
This remote scenic byway, known as the Northwest Passage – is a segment of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail and travels through some of the most isolated, spectacular and undisturbed landscape in all of America.
Be sure and stop at the Lochsa Lodge in Lolo, ID for some much-needed gas…oh, and a nice slice of cheesecake before heading out again. Lodging, gas and places to eat are few and far between on this route.
