What to do when your equipment fails on a road trip?

What were we thinking riding across Kansas and Nebraska in the heat of summer??

Heat! Equipment failure!  It’s all part of long-distance motorcycle travel, but boy is it hard sometimes. 

Plus, sometimes we find some of the weirdest places to camp as our battle against the high heat continues.  We hightail it across Kansas and Nebraska trying to get north.  It’s time to put on the miles – but isn’t that the beauty of all motorcycle trips?
