What's The Big Deal About Sturgis? S5E4
Simply known as Sturgis or The Rally –this motorcycle event is so special that during its 83-year history it’s only been canceled a few times and that was during WWII due to gas rationing.
Founded in 1938 by Pappy Hoel, a young man of 34 who just wanted to test his mettle and promote his Indian Motorcycle Shop – held a race with 9 other participants (8 Indians bikes & 1 HD), a small audience and 1 quick single race. And as they say – the rest is history.
Year after year motorcycle enthusiasts make their pilgrimage to the tiny town of Sturgis, SD for the downtown scene, concerts, races and the fabulous roads that crisscross the area.

I’m in southeast AZ and would love for you to come by. I have a lot of room and there is great riding in the area. My friends have 4×4 machines so we could show you some pretty cool country. Les
