Highway 12, which passes through Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument has you on the edge of your seat – literally. 

Riding through aspen laden forests, red-rock spires and deep canyons – the vast scenery varies greatly as you ride along. 

The Hogsback – a sleek ribbon of a road – is part of this byway and runs along the ridge with 600-foot canyons dropping off on both sides of the road.
