EXPLORING PURE MICHIGAN + WHAT'S UP WITH THE SOLAR?! E2 (S5E9)

Electricity!  Need more power!  Traveling in heavily treed states, like Michigan, is wreaking havoc on our solar capacity, as we’re finding out.  So, while waiting for the batteries to charge up enough for us to use them, it was time to get on the bikes and do some exploring around Copper Harbor.

First off was a fabulous waterfall to waterfall ride. If you’re collecting bucket list rides, then this one is for you! The highlight of the ride was stopping off at the Snow Gauge.  During the 1978-1979 season, the area saw a record-setting total of 390.4 inches. Wait!! What?! That’s 65 feet over our heads!! Glad we’re visiting the area in the summer.
